Need help with intermediate shaft and DSS axles
I have a 89 CRX with a 93 B18a1 swap and I'm tryin to put together a race car. I bought a set of Driveshaft Shop axles a while back from a h-t member, and finally got around to putting them in the other day. But I pulled out both axles and broke the intermediate shaft loose from the drivers axle, and the drivers axle has a female end where the inter. shaft plugs in. Both my DSS axles are males.
My question is, is there any way to take the intermediate shaft apart to allow a male connection? I've included some pics as reference in hopes someone can help me out.
My stock axles (yeah i know they're rusty, I left them out in the rain):

My DSS axles:

My intermediate shaft:

Also, I looked on the DSS website and none of the axles they sell look like these (fat in the middle). Did I get screwed over by the seller? Please let me know. Thanks H-T

First off ive never seen any DSS axels like that and second, somthing is weird about ur half shaft and the axel that is supposed to go into it... with my ls swap both my axels looked the same and I ''plugged'' the axel into the halfshaft in your case it looks like it would be the other way around with the halfshaft plugging into the axel..

Looks to me like you got 2 passenger side DSS axles. All Hondas I've ever seen with equal-length front axles have a male end on the intermediate shaft and a female end on the driver side axle.
Unless perhaps there was an intermediate shaft from a different year or model of vehicle that used a female end on the intermediate shaft... I dunno... Preludes maybe? I don't know what those look like.

Actually I bought the car with the swap already done, and believe me its rigged up. Broken stock motor mounts, butt connectors at the ECU wiring, zip ties holding things on. I'm trying to buy good parts and redo all the half-*** work by the previous owner. So there's no telling what car the axles came from.
What year cars have the female intermediate shaft that will work? I think I would rather try that option first before I buy a new female DSS axle.

those axles look correct for a b18a(90-93 tegs)
but dunno y ur halfshaf is like that
the full spine is driverside
and the half spine is pass side
on my 93 integra the halfshaft was male into the tranny and female the other end to acccept the driverside axle

Like I said he probably was sent 2 pass. side axles.
All 3rd gen Integras and all B16 Civics (del Sol VTEC, 99-00 Si) as far as I know had a female inner CV joint on the driver side, and a male end on the int. shaft. The pass. side axle of course had a male inner CV joint.
I'm not sure what 2nd gen Integras came with.
