Damn Alarm?????????????????????????????????
Hey, just need a little help. I bought a 95 Honda Accord Coupe that was already slightly modified. The guy told me that there was an amp in the back but it wasn't hooked up right. I decided to hook it up myself and that worked out fine, but when i reconnected the battery under the hood my damn alarm went off and wouldn't shut off. I know it's a Viper alarm and i didn't pay much attention to it because i know i'm getting a new one. The alarm does have a disable switch in the car but even with that turn off the **** starts blaring. If u can help i would appreciate it.
Do you have the transmitter? Sounds like it just needs to be disarmed.
You should also be able to disarm it with the valet button. Turn the ignition on, but don't start the car. Then, press the valet buton. Should disarm.
If none of that works, then you could always just cut the siren, or pull the brain...

Try this, before you hook up the batt. turn on the ign. switch to the run position, if that and as B18C_EJ8 suggests "use the remote" does not work, find the alarm brain and unplug it, let us know what the model is, or just go to here http://www.directed.com/guides/ogs.asp find the alarm and download the owners guide, it will tell you how to disarm without remote, and if the remote needs reprogramming, let me know. [I need the alarm model number] to be of any help

yup. or if you really dont want to pull anythign out or look around disconnect your batteries and reset the alarm itself let it sit for 20 minutes and let power die out. reconnect and should be good. unless its a newer alarm and has memory on it. either way good luck
