Default FS: 93 del sol si shell with ls/vtec in it $2700 <Northeast>

Hey whats up? I have a black 93 del sol si 5-speed with ls/vtec and a LOT of other mods done to it, up for sale. Its located in Bangor, Maine. Car is in pretty rough shape, but has clean title, and a strong motor set up to start with.

heres a list of the parts and info:

93 del sol si 140k on body - black exterior, paint needs to be redone. no way around it. the motor was put together this winter, installed this may, driven for pretty much the break in period before the inspection ran out. i need something larger than the 2 seater.

97 b18b LS block with p30 pistons, Jomar Racing micropolished crank, new acl bearings, rings, crank bearings, all hottanked, and assembled professionally by local shop. cometic Xtreme hi-pressure ls/vtec head gasket, eagle custom new age rods with 3/8" rod bolts, AEBS head studs greddy sp muffler on 2-1/4" mandrel bent welded exhaust from header back, dc 4-1 JDM header, cat removed, 2 resonators installed inplace. Car runs comfortable tone unless in vtec. i never got bothered by local law enforcement, or had a hard time hearing over the radio at low levels, oem honda complete gasket kit, CTR crank pulley, AEM alternator pulley.

95 b16a3 sir2 dohc vtec head - milled .040, new timing belt, valves, seals, stock springs, cams, retainers, 3-angle valve job, camp1320 adjustable cam gears, ITR intake manifold, AEM intake, blitz filter, accel wires, ngk 1-step colder plugs, new cap, new rotor, distributor replaced 4 months ago, chipped p28 by iH8ricerz 5300-vtec x-over, 9500 redline All-motor program, golden eagle ls/vtec stainless steel line and block adapter.

Fluidyne style deep aluminum racing radiator (ebay brand), new thermostat, new hoses, clutchmasters 11-lb flywheel, stock clutch, new throwout bearing, YS1 b16 hydro 5-speed tranny, lubed with mobil-1 manual tranny fluid, and mobil-1 5w-30 motor oil after 500-mile break in (coastal nd-30 oil was used and changed after 10-minute, 50 mile, 250 mile, and 500 mile break in period).

momo competition steering wheel, shift and ebrake handles, ground control coilovers, stock shocks, 17" rims on 40 series tires (wheelmax brand), aftermarket taillights, clear corner lenses, reverse idiglo gauges, custom red vinyl on doors, rear panels on clean black exterior in good condition, aftermarket front and rear bumpers, bought from versus motorsports, the company that provided body kits for2 Fast 2 Furious.

car is in overall good shape 7/10, 3 missing because of a few deep scratches made by angry sister, the matter of which has been resolved; so it would look a LOT better with new paint. its an eye catcher now for sure it looks like a fast sleek car, but paint would only make it look that much better. second, the iacv is going on the car, so the idle fluctuates which is very annoying. im 99% sure this is the problem. there is a small crack in the windshield from last winter, freezing cold weather >< . the glovebox is missing also, went over a bump to fast with too much in it and the thing snapped off...defect of sol gloveboxes is what i blame it on. a/c removed, cc, p/s steering all removed. power windows, power rear window, removeable top with storage for it in trunk.

the car drives fine and pulls like a raped ape!! u will be surprised at how hard this thing pulls, any other car of ANY cylinder is going to need to have a lot of work done to it to keep up with it.

so with those minor things, and with the parts total worth over thousands alone, i cant accept anything lower than $2700. the shell of the car at $1400, and 1/3 of the price of the parts $1300 added together. mainly because i need something a lil more economical and lower insurance. The parts total on the car is worth well over the price asked, but have had it for 6 years, looking to get a 4-door Integra and start a new project. hope to see this beauty go to a good caring home, and would like to keep in touch with the new owner as to see how it runs. any vids of it afterwards would be greatly appreciated

mods i will get VIN and pics up as soon as i get them out of the car. thanks.
please call 207-945-5032 or email flm04613@yahoo.com

i WILL part the car out separately from the motor, but won't part out the motor itself.

yep, clean title. ill get some pics up as soon as i can find a site that will host a few of them. theyre not very good, and the pics are huge but they give u an idea anyways. it needs paint bad. my sister got drunk one night and keyed the shate out of it over $100 i owed her....so no worries about people having grudges with it or anything if local....

but yeah ill try to get some up for u guys soon, any ideas on hosting sites would be great.

ps-if ur interested, send me ur email, i can get pics to u that way.

i've owne the car for 5 years, and the motor has around 400miles on it for break in. It was taken past vtec after the first 50 miles or so, compression is good, no leaks, operates at steady temp of just below the halfway mark.

the speedometer doesnt work, or the needle rather, i figure from the indiglo gauge install. the tach didnt either, until i took the gauge face off and reapplied it. havent messed around with the speedo one yet, forgot to mention that.

with the tires on it now, they are mildy worn on the inner toe from the car being just a tad too low for the camber kit. but when its floored in 3rd gear, it will break traction at vtec

no rust, no dents, only a few scratches, a mispainted license plate frame (inbetween the tailights where the license plate goes; from sister kicking it in >&lt, and a small chip off from the trunk from a wrench being left in it when it was closed one time.

other than that overall pretty good condition.

car may be sold as a shell, so if anyone is interested in the motor, feel free to drop a line.

it was put together professionally, still in new condition, broken in at just over 500 miles.
