its because ur not catching traction at the track, and also, its normal for stock gsr to run 15z

You're going to need to provide more information for people to be able to help. What was your 60ft time and your trap speed?

btw see your from Jersey, you go to Etown tonight? Bunch of my friends went but I'm stuck up at school and couldn't join them

Also carefully consider your choice of tires.

Stock GS-Rs from the factory are supposed to run about 15.5. 15.6 isn't that terrible if you're stock.

it should say 60ft and then the time.......a proper driver would able to maintain a 2.1-2.2 second 60ft time.....if you manage to pull a 2.4-2.5 up.....your time will be like ****....

throwing a PR3 onto that poor B18C block will lower the compression and make matters worse... unless the pistons are upgraded..

drag racing is a science... if that was your first time at the track congrats... my first run ever was a 19... haha... the secret is in the launch, and 60 foot. tire spin at your launch kills you, and also make sure your shifts are perfect.. it takes a few runs to get everything perfect...

practice does make perfect. i found out the hard way that launching your car at the track is much more difficult to do good and consistently than on the street. but then again, the only time ive went is when i had my shitty *** bfg non performance tires

ok ill clear a lil bit of confusion up for you my man. Where did you go and race? Etown or Atco? Either way I go to both so next time Id be more than happy to run with you. Stock I ran a 15.2 which is pretty good. And I did wheel hop. I launched at like 4000 rpms which i think is too high, im gonna bring it down to like 3200 next time. With all my new **** thrown in: I/H/E and coils Im hoping to break into the 14.9 range, possibly even 14.8. Dont be pissed at ur numbers, just work the launch, personally on my best time i didnt even smoke the tires before my run and I was running at 20 psi in my tires. Let me know when you want to go again.

Not to be disrespectful, but it also could be your driving(shifts), stock GSR's are stcock high 14's low 15's. Check to see if you are up to date as for as tune up goes Little stuff like that actually does matter

you might have advanced your timing too far??

Get an exhaust to open up the exhaust flow. The intake and header is sucking in more air but your car is still restricting the exhaust flow with your stock exhaust.

correct. SOME GSRs can hit high 14s with a very good driver, usually low to mid 15s with an ok driver, so i dont know what you're complaining about. get some good tires and go practice.
