Well, my beater is a '90 lumina van. And I love it!!! But not enough to put a decent system in there, just one to get me by.

Right now I replaced the stock unit with a midrange sony cd player (50 watts channel), because I don't think I even own a cassette anymore. And well, old stock speakers tend to blow pretty easily....so half of the stock system is blown.

So basically, I'm thinking of getting some low end speakers like Boss, or pyramid to throw in....plus maybe a woofer because I have an extra fosgate monoblock in my shop (400 rms).

The question I have is, I never really bought low end speakers before. I'm not looking for anything special, it's just I can't justify anything but low end speakers for a beater. I know nothing about low end audio components, so what is the best of low end for my application.

 

Man - low end is low end.......they're all low end........anything that is low end will be equal to the other low ends............i say just get something.........anything will work......
