Just got my first Teg!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Its a red 98 gsr with 70xxx for 7500$ Needs a lil body work, but perfect other than that. oh yea
I will post pics as soon as i get a chance to take them.
Heres a question. My previous car was a 99 civic ex 2dr. I bought springs/shocks for it and my gf totaled it before i got a chance to install them. Will they work in the Teg? I know spring rate is prolly different but cant be that much. Shocks should fit right???? Almighty tech heads.........

And congrats, what's next for the GSR. I'd recomend getting some headwork done. About $1500.00 will get you up and over out preform the ITR.</TD></TR></TABLE>

i'm pretty sure the shocks from a 96-00 civic won't fit on an integra, because the civic lca is thinner than an integra one. i had to put stock integra shocks on my 96 civic and i had to put washers between the lca's and shocks to fill the gap. the springs are interchangeable though.

Well stupid question........is it always nessasary to use upgraded shocks when you do the springs? I always just did the both cause it was comming apart anyway

not necessary, but it's good to get shocks with the springs. the ride will be bouncy with just springs, and the shocks will go out a lot faster. if you have the $, it's a good idea to do it together. i had ebay coilovers with stock shocks on my civic, and the shocks did end up going out. even before they did, the ride was ****. on my integra i'm doing it the right way with h&r's and konis

yea it is pretty necessary to upgrade shocks when you do springs. Unless you like riding on blown shocks. and yea the civic shocks will work. when i ordered shocks for my teg i was sent civic ones instead but they are interchangeable.

were they 92-95 civic or 96-00? i'm pretty sure the 96-00 WON'T work. the lca's are different thicknesses.

I can tell u that I am 100% sure that the front shocks from an EK will fit the Teg, and depending on the brand of shock it may or may not come with the brake line brackets. EK's have the brake line on the knuckle instead of the shock. But if the shock doesnt have brackets, u can just ziptie it to the shock body no problems.
However I am 100% sure that the rears wont fit, because the fork is skinnier for EK's. Unless they are tokico's which is designed to fit EG civics and EK civics, and we all know EG and DC parts are interchangable
