Default GT42R the turbo with its own zip code

here are some pics of my new GT42R installed on my 99 ek..Thanks art!!!!

had to trim just a little but to keep this tech related..it will fit a FULL RACE top mount manifold with NO MODS AT ALL..just need to trim the support by about 1/4 inch..Iam having a custom ram air head light made and will post those pics up when I get it in and install it..BOTI here I come!!

Very nice!! How effective are the cut-outs in the front bumper with regards to cooling? I have been thinking about doing somthing similar.

Let us know how this badboy spools compared to your PT71-GTQ. I heard they should be similar, with this supporting a buttload more power.

well this turbo surprized me..it starts spooling around 5K rpms..dunno full boost yet..and yes the hood closes no problem..I have 1/2 inch from compressor to hood and a little over 1 inch from exhaust housing to hood.

I spun this motor to 11K rpms with the PT71GTQ so I plan to do the same with this one..
