gsr with different head

no damage was done to the block. just a blown head, so i replaced the head. and also slapped on a sk2 manifold. im dissapointed, can it be because of the sk2 manifold? or should i put back my stock manifold?
from what i gather, if you are running stock gsr cams, you should stick with the stock dual stage intake manifold or you will loose low end power. only upgrade to a type-r or skunk2 intake manifold if you are going to upgrade the cams as well.
You will need to adjust the VTEC engagement to 5500 - 5800, depending on cams. A dyno tune will tell you exactly where to set it. The stock P72 VTEC point is too low for a large single stage manifold like the Junk2. While you're at it, get some better valve springs so you can get a couple extra hundred rpms in.
