General Question: What does It take to run 12's in an EG hatch
Hey I'm wondering what an average HP/TQ for an eg hatch is needed to run into the 12's ON slicks , 13's on street tires
This with a nice suspension system (tockicko blues and omni coilovers)
Turbo set up (b16)

ok well im not 100 % sure on the suspension setup, as I think im trading my prelude for a b16 hatch and I plan on Turbo'ing it..

basically everyone 12s are easy
and very very streetable
250hp should cover it with slicks and a good driver (PRELOAD PRELOAD PRELOAD)
a 12s street tire car is a very different beast then 12 s slick car, on the street a street tire car acts alot different then on track.
TRACTION IS such a wonderful thing
i have a 11s drag radial car, and out of the box car is always spinning, this car is for ever spinning, of course on the street there is no chance in hell in first or second on street tires
but 3rd 4th gears on the street is SICK
back to my point
traction is most important if all u want is 12s w/slicks very doable with 250hp

i went 12.20 my very first pass ever on slicks...and on 18inch racing heart with junk parada tires 13.0 the run before.......around 280 horsepower in a coupe.
bigger injectors and seat time got the car down to 11.40...it was a daily driver and the motor had aprox. 75k miles on it before the fuel pump took a dump on me with 4 girls in the car....in the winter...in the middle of nowhere. used to drive it to the track, run 11's...then drive it 4 hours to the beach all in the same night. same car is in my signature with a few changes for this year
