Rota is not fake, just a lower quality version of the same type of product. Fake Mugen rims for example are fake, as in having the Mugen emblems but without the Mugen stamp on the wheels and with half the strength, etc..

No fakes are good because fake products try to make out as the real deal.

I have a real one stuck somewhere in the bottom of my parts pile if somebody wants one.

Oh yeah, It had no problems reading the signal from my old Greddy AFR meter but it is nothing more than another worthless idiot light you use the signal from an OEM narrowband meter.
