Ok.. When i go to crank my car up every day it just dont crank on the firts time. Matter of fact it takes a few tries to crank up. And then after driving my car when i turn it off. It makes this suction noise. and now its starting to smoke from both sides of the motor. please help. and can somebody please explain to me why i have to take a fuse of my brake lights every time i want them to go off. Your brake lights are staying on because the brake light swtich is bad. When you release the brake pedal, it pushes against a switch to turn the lights off. If the small rubber pad is missing where the pedal makes contact, you can try to rig it with something so that it does make contact. Or, you may just need a new switch.

Does the smoke have a sweet smell to it at all? I've seen similar problems with a car that had a warped head/leaking head gasket.

then you self-diagnosed your own problem: you need a head gasket...

Sounds like the timing is off just a little. Use at your own risk, but try turning the whole distributor lightly with your hand to the right A LITTLE and then try to start it. Reverse directions if it takes longer.

86-89 accords have a common problem of the valve cover gasket leaking on the front and the oil filter base leaking on the back side of the engine. Both gaskets are cheap but the oil filter base is a pain to change with the engine in the car and the intake manifold on. If it is leaking on the left side of the engine it may also be the distributor o-ring. Since you said its the gasket right in front of the exhaust manifold i would say more than likely its you valve cover gasket and not your head gasket, since the head gasket is under the exhaust manifold.
