Default CRX swaping

ive always wanted to do an engine swap ina CRX but i have a few questions whats the best year to work with, should it be an Si or not.Turbo or non turbo H22 K20 or B16

any input would be great im just trying to get some basic ideas b4 i start spending a bunch of money, yes im a noob so if i said something to get flammed on about then do so.

All your questions are answered in the various FAQ's at the top of the forums. If you search for 'ef b1 swap' or something like that, i'm sure you will find alot more info.


The EASIEST crx to do a swap on is one that already has mpfi. No dual-points, no carbs. You can always get adapters if you have dpfi though. You asked abou turbo h22s k20s or b16s, well, none of them come turbod. Since you seem new to the world of engine swaps, i'd stick with an easy swap. Maybe another d-series, or LS?
