Order of operations
August:
Registered for an MSF approved class at the Honda Rider Training Center and bought a Dainese jacket, A* gloves and boots, and cleaned up my Bell M2 car helmet.
Mid September:
Passed the MSF class and received the DMV waiver.
Saturday 9/24:
Bought a Yamaha YZF600R and trucked it home.
Tuesday 9/27:
Insured the bike
Today 9/28:
Went to the DMV and got my M1 license! Also finished up the title and registration while I was there.
I should be riding it around the block next week. I'm totally excited

Thats just about the same order I got all my stuff done in as well! Kinda wierd how we even have some of the same gear (A* gloves, Dianese Jacket) Anyhow, good job and keep the shiny side up!
