Electrical problem that has me stumped....help a brotha out!!!
About 2 weeks ago I get into my car to move it. Turn the key over to start the car up and well the engine turned over but didnt fire right up. So I give it another try to see if the main relay clicks and the fuel pump primes which it didnt. Luckily I had another main relay in my glove box. Swap that one in there and it fires right up no problems for another 2 weeks. Well just the other day my car decides to do this again but only this time I didnt swap out the main relay it just mysteriously started working fine again. I drove my car across country last week with not one problem but now since it has been home its a hassle. Yesterday go out to crank it up and the main relay was not working again it wouldnt click and the fuel pump wouldnt prime. I went to a junk yard and got myself 3 main relays 2 of which worked and one that didnt so now I got 4 main relays that I know work because I tested them all in my car when it does want to work properly.
So today Im gonna be doing some troubleshooting since all of a sudden today my car doesnt want to run again
with the same symptoms. The bad part is I dont have a multimeter with me here and Im pretty sure that Im gonna need one.
Has anyone else had this sort of intermittent problem? I did a search on main relays and read several posts but didnt see one that had the same problems that I have been having the past few days. My car is a 92 DX hatch with a JDM B18C swap that has been running great for over a year now no problems ever if that helps out at all for anyone that wants to give me some helpful info. Hopefully its an easy fix and Im not gonna have to chase to many wires since I think its either a bad wire or ground somewhere. Hopefully it isnt gonna cost me any money to fix either since that is a little tight these days as well
So someone help a brotha out cause I need to drive my car

Its hard to fix a problem like this when its not there if you know what Im saying. Its just like the airplanes that I worked on in flight they would have all kinds of problems on the ground they would work fine. I guess that I might have to wait until it really breaks before I get to really troubleshoot and find the problem.
I forgot and left out one of the details of my problem. Every once in awhile the CEL will come on. When I go to check the code it really doesnt give me one. It normally flickers but never really gives me a code. Tonight while driving it around the CEL popped on I checked the code and it would give me one click flicker and thats about it but the engine ran fine no problems at all.
Anyone got any ideas

After doing a little more searching Im beginning to think that the problem could be coming from my ECU. Here is the thread that I ran across to make me think this https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1165452
