Default adding Auxilary inputs to Honda stock stereo

I'm wanting to add Auxiliary inputs to my Honda stock stereo. (for mp3,etc.)
I've found a few sites and searched on here but ....
Just wondering if anyone has done this to a stock honda stereo.
it appears there are a few ways to do this.

http://ipod.hackaday.com/entry/1234000220046664/
has a DIY, but like I said I'm looking for specific Honda info
I'd rather not have a switch to change from aux input to CD, but if that the best way ....

http://www.installer.com/aux/ sells aux adapters, do these just plug into the back of the stereo and make it much easier?
kinda looking to keep this not too expensive

thanks for any help, better links, etc.. cheers

There are a few things you can do, you can use the FM MOD adpt. this will work with any unit that has an FM tuned, they can be had for well under $50. Sound quality can be poor, especially with the "cordless" ones.
If your stock HU is a cass deck, you can get a cass adpt., again sound quality can be very poor.
The best way is some kind of pre-amp input, if your HU is a CD changer controller, you can get an adpt. to make it an AUX input, some are even avalible even if you have the changer, the less expensive ones are the ones the you plug into the headphone jack and then into the CD changer port, the better, [and more expensive ones] are the "docking port" ones, they use a preamp output from the MP3 player instead of the headphone output, and have the best SQ.
Check with the MP3s manufacturer for "docking stations" if you Google MP3 to car stereo adpt. you get 39,700 sites. http://www.google.com/search?s...pt%2E 94
