What is the intended use? You can download all the NES games and play them with emulators or an xbox.

You can download emulators for just about any game and play them on a PC. Xbox also has the emulators.

Why don'y you try ebay that probably the best place to find nes games. Most of the people here probably weren't even born yet when the NES came out LOL.

Yeah I know what you mean. I actually have a NES with a chip in it so it plays like new. I just have to make sure to perfectly clean the games before I put them in or it will get dirty quick. Also have an original running pad that still works. I lost my gun for it though which sucks. But the only game I have left is the Mario/duck hunt/track and field that are authentic.

The rest I just play on my dell Axim X5

Good luck on finding games... you gotta hit up grandmothers who just wants to give them away.

what saddens me.. is theres a whole generation of kids out tehre who didnt start out w/the old NES or SNES.. but started out w/ a ps2 or xbox or gamecube..hell, even the n64.

some of the best games i've ever played were on the old SNES. whats a game w/awesome graphics thats not fun to play? who cares how many polygons if you cant get your guy on the screen to move when and where you want him to at the time you want him to do it. i dont know how many games ive played for the newer systems that sucked because they were either too complicated or had bad control..or a bad story.
IMO, you dont get any better than Link to the Past or Super Metroid..Chrono Trigger..man..
what the heck happened?

The difference is more time is spent on the graphics then actual game development.

Some games on the new systems are good. The xbox is probably the best system evr built but not for the reason microsoft intended. I dont think it would have done as well without the hacking effort. I know I wouldn't have bought one. Being able to play nes, sega, atari and all the other games on an xbox is a big plus. It also acts as a nice cheap media center. With software that isn't owned by Microcrap. My complaints with disc games is it way to easy to scratch and ruin a game, exspecially if you have kids. It is really nice being able to back up the games you own.

Yeah, the new Messiah.

It's basically a smaller nes system with the ability to play both usa and import games. Also gonna have wireless controllers.

I am going to get one for sure.

Gamestop is going to carry them too.
