if you want to make power you have to go single, and the single are going to be loud.....
and, these are typically less expensive(one muffler), barring a few JDM brands....

I've got the Apex'i N1 on my S2K and I thought it was pretty quiet. I fired it up for the first time with the silencer installed just to see what it was like and it sounded completely stock. Without the silencer, it sounds awesome. A little louder at idle, screams at WOT, but almost silent when cruising on the highway (no droning). I am running the stock manifold, cat, and the pre-silencer that is part of the N1 system.
Overall you can't beat it for the price

So, Im pretty sure im going to get the Apexi N1 Exhaust. For daily driving, Im going to put the silencer on. From what im hearing from you, it sounds like stock with the silencer. Right?

Nice.

did you have it custom made? they dont offer the n1 turbo for the s2k. only difference would be larger piping and the only size piping for the s2k is 63mm in the n1 or the gt spec.
If you want to sound stock, leave the silencer on. In my opinion, it's too quiet with it on. I was thinking of making a custom silencer with a bigger diameter pipe.

Apexi is actually a quality product...its only downfall is its a little heavy compared to most single exhaust. but this is just because of its construction.
