can anyone tell me the potential of 2.3 in a 92 lude it seems to be the lowest in hp that i have found im useing the motor as a factor in buying the car thanks

 

lowest in hp? I think not...........

The lowest should be the F series 2.2l that comes with the prelude S - you really have to make different thread titles.

The h23(2.3L)160hp is a great motor......good HP and almost equal torque........i say thumbsup to it - many people have made crazy WHP with that engine. I think you're limited to boost though......but its a great engien.

if you know anything about cars, buy it and build it. If you don't, buy something else

 

if ur going to boost the car, the h23 is better than the h22.. just cuz the h22 is a lil bit harder to tune (cuz of vtec).... i have an h23 n i have thought of getting the h22 swap.... but im going to stick to my h23 after all.... but there has been many people to get good numbers out of a h23....

 

the h23 is a great motor. you can do minor I/H/E things and have good gas mileage and decent performance. if you are anti h23 then wait til you find another car then. just my 2 cents
