Default Battery=CHECK, Crank=NO?

Anyone knows whats wrong? This morning i went to crank my car, but wont crank. All power was on, etc. But just wont crank! I went down a hill and manage to pull it to life. I turned it off and turned it back on after i got to another hill, it cranked. Is something wrong with my starter, etc? What's wrong?!

make sure the cables are clean and tight and not corroded, next time car does not crank, havbe a friend hold the key in start position , get a big screwdriver and bang on the starter , if it turns you found your problem

Sounds like the solenoid on your starter is bad. If it doesn't push the starter gear out to the flywheel the the starter will not turn.

try giving the starter a few taps with your club or a mallet. it might knock it to place.
