A company like Glass Doctor may be able to help.
Or if they're not too deep, you might try either jewelers' rouge or semi-chrome polish with a mechanical polisher.
Yeh, I know how ^%$#*& it gets..... 200.00 for a windshield all because a wiper insert tore....
