Just wondering if i need to get a new o2 sensor in order to fix this problem. I'm pretty sure i do but just want to make sure before i order one.

 

make sure its plugged in.. that was my problem.

 

are you talking about make sure the connector is pluged into the os2 sensor?


i randomly throw these codes so i'm pretty sure it's connected, unless it's has faulty wiring. also if the connector on the sensor was loose wouldnt i throw a bad o2 sensor code also?

 

41 is the heater circuit.
Check the 2 black wires on the O2 sensor plug. I have seen situations where
they have just fallen out.

just fyi for future people. I failed smog. pass'd 25mph test failed 15 mph test. Got this code. Replaced o2 sensor and car runs better, and passed smog. Just some info for the search records.
