I'm looking to install an a/v system that sits on top of the cener consol and has a plastic "hood" that houses the system for my accord but I'm having a difficult time finding a source. If you could help me out, I'd really appreciate it. If you have any ideas on how I can get the plastic center consol that houses the system, I'd be grateful. I have a pic but I dont know how to post it here without using a link.

You won't find any hood like you're talking about. If you want that done, you'll have to make it yourself from fiberglass or pay a shop to make it.

what car and where again? center console as between the front seats or above the center portion of the dash?

 

Thanks for the replies guys. On top of the enter consol; sorry about the confusion. So this is hard to find huh? Damn....someone must know something about this. It's just a plastic housing for the system; maybe some custom shops would know how to get this? Appreciate any and all help. Thanks.

 

You are not going to find something like that. It is a custom job, go to your local car audio shop NOT BEST BUY and see how much they would charge you to do it. That is assuming that you don't know how to work with fiberglass.
