Default Le Thermal Exhaust (3")

Ok well I wasnt sure where to post this but I figure you guys might be able to answer my question.

I have a thermal R&D exhaust on my car right now and I absolutley love the way it sounds. Now when I purchased the car it was already installed, so this is why I ask the question:

All I have ever heard about the exhaust is that its excellent for turbo cars, so does this mean its not meant for n/a cars? Some say that you loose low-end torque if you are running the exaust n/a. Why is this?

Just curious b/c I searched and found nothing, but i hear the same remarks about the exhaust all the time.

Thanks

So are plenty of other custom exhausts that are used with n/a and yeild better numbers than the 2.25 cat-backs.

3" is big for N/A. I would go with a 2.25"-2.5", but that would be difficult, just turbo instead

research "scavenging effects" then you'll know why 3" isn't the best for N/A apps

You gotta maintain a certain amount of velocity going through your exhaust for low end.

naturally aspirated motors need some amount of backpressure in order to produce power, the opposite with turbo motors

They need scavenging effects, not backpressure.
