Okay, so as the story goes I was pulled over last week for 5 over on the freeway (as many of you know from my last post). Well, I just went to Milwaukee to pick up my new 95 VTEC on Thursday. My g/f and I left Michigan at 8am and arrived in Milwaukee around 2pm. The car is absolutely perfect, so we take her home after paying only $10k(guy didn't know what he had... only 60k mi, no rust, no dings, no nothin... except for a few mullet hairs from his out of date haircut ). So we left there around 5pm to drive all the way back to Michigan. My g/f was driving my 93 back and we had 2-way radios to keep contact with. When we were about an hour away from home I told her that I found it strange that there weren't any cops the entire way home. I couldn't have jinxed myself any more than right there. We got into my town and some *** was tailing my g/f for about 5 miles, flashing his brights and his hazards. I called her and had her pass me since she was feeling uncomfortable. Well, he started to do the same stuff to me as well. Right as we're about to pull into my sub-division a cop screams around the guys truck with its lights and sirens going off and pulls me over... RIGHT IN THE ENTRANCE TO MY SUB!!!!!! Another cop comes and gets behind my g/f and then 2 other units pulled up. THe lady cop comes to my car and asks if I had been drinking and of course I said no. She asks for my license, registration and proof of insurance. Well all I have is my license and the certificate of title transfer, the insurance card was in the other car. She yanks me out of the car, cuffs me and throws me in the back of her car. She was being really persistant with me drinking so I told her to ,"PLEASE give me a breathalizer!" Of course it came up 0.00 because why? Oh yeah, I hadn't been drinking. They did the same to my g/f as well. I asked why she was pulling us over and she told me that the guy who was following us said that we were all over the road, almost hitting trees, running red lights, etc, etc. I told her that he was harrassing my g/f as well as me and she just blew it off. She then told me that I needed a temp. plate to drive. I called Sec. State a few days earlier and said I didn't need one, so I told her. She then asks one of the other officers and he said that you can get from point A to point B without it if its from a private seller. So she looked really stupid then for trying to argue with me about it . After that I asked her if she was going to ticket me for anything and she said no, so I demanded that she uncuff me and allow me to get out of the car and allow me to go home. She did, but not until 20 min. later. At this point about 5 of my neighbors had driven by and saw me and my g/f cuffed, so that's going to be fun to try and explain to them. Overall it took a good hour to deal with this. I am so F**King pissed about it, so I think I'm going to go to the Sherrifs office today and bitch about it. Sorry about the long post, but I am so mad and so unlucky.

Cliff notes: Got pulled over again and was harrassed by A-hole cops for an hour without recieving a ticket.

 

The guys in members would have fun with this one. The fact that she pulled you over for suspicion of a DUI and kept you cuffed after you passed a breathalizer, which proves that you weren't drikning, is damn good grounds to write her up. Did you get her badge number? Either way call the officer on duty, be polite, and ask what you have to do to write a complaint about the officer. If you are really pissed talk with a lawyer, it shouldn't cost anything to discuss a potential case.

I would give them hell!!!! That's completely uncalled for. I would go above and beyond just complaining about it. I thought most cops were cool and all, just doing their job. But I haven't heard a good story about dealing with cops in a long, long time.

 

95 red VTEC Lude? Prolly the same one my friend almost bought about 2 months ago. His parents wouldn't cosign for 10k, but they would for 9k...

About the harassment. F cops like that. File a formal complaint, sue, do something. I have had something almost exactly like that happen to me, but I still got a ticket. Me and my friends were even called insulting names by 2 of the cops...I really wish I had taken it to court.

 

congratulations! we have a winner! i believe you way out performed me for the award of "Most insanely b.s. treatment bestowed upon you by p.o.s. cops" i thought me gettin pulled over for speeding "40 in a 25" (estimated), attempting to elude (for driving about 200 yards before finding somewhere to pullover) and reckless driving (for changing lanes without a blinker,......i guess) was bad but you got the royal shaft (at least you didnt get a ticket) even though there would be no provable reason for one. i had to pay 781 in tickets and court cost just so i could let the judge say guilty (after all im not an "honest hard working" cop so who the hell would believe me)

**** the police...i got a ticket in my prelude yesterday pulling out of my neighborhood on my way back to school...60 in a 45...my music was too loud and i didnt hear my radar detector...had no place to run...had to suck it up and pull over...what an *******...and to think i drive 90 plus the entire way down I-40 back to Wilmington from Greensboro!

I must be part of that 10 %... I had to run from the cops in my lude once. I was being really stupid and racing my friend, well by the time I saw him I was thinking, I can
A. get pulled over and lose my license
B. try to run
C. take it up the ***...
so I ran (not to mention the illegal substance in the car) I really lucked out because we caught the cop off gaurd and he also stared at my friend I was racing for 5 sec. This cop was real lazy otherwise he would have caught me for sure. I was way lucky and have learned most of my lesson , but hey if the circumstances are right... oh one other thing I dropped my friend out of the car because he had something illegal on him too, well the cop saw my friend and tried to chase him... looks like that cop had one too many doughnuts...
