Default GS-R Tranny vs. Type-R Tranny (USDM)

Other than the obvious fact that Type-R tranny has LSD, what are the other differences between a GS-R tranny and a Type-R tranny, both being from the USDM. Do they have the same gear ratios? I'm asking because I'm putting in a brand new Type-R J4D LSD tranny in to my gs-r next weekend and am curious what other aspects of performance I'll be treated with

It makes it much harder for me to find information when I search and get a ton of worthless answerless results to valid questions.
Here is a decent thread: https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=357422
