Default Noise in Rebuilt tranny B18C1

Did some searching around and found out some stuff but not what i want to know.

Just put the tranny back in the car last week after geting it rebuilt ( 3 months of problems ) and today i hear a rattling/ whining noise. The noise is there in idle and when accelerating in gear but goes away when i press the clutch in weather its idling or driving. If im coasting in gear, there is no noise but if i hit the gas the noise comes back. If its idling and i rev it, the noise is there.

Parts that was replaced in the tranny are NEW throw out bearing, pilot bearing, input/main bearings, new ring gear, stock gsr diff ( itr one was useless ) and new clucth disk 500 miles ago.
I have 2700lbs pressure plate, stage 3 clucth. Wondering if that can cause the bearing to quit faster? There was some wear on the ends of the pressure plate where the bearing touches. ANY IDEAS WILL BE GREATLY APPRECIATED, THANKS

Bump for having similar problems to my GSR tranny that I'm trying to put an ITR diff in.

My noise was only on deceleration though. Not acceleration. At first when I pressed the clutch in when coasting, I thought the noise went away... however... the whirring was still there.... just very, very faint. So make sure it does go completely away when the clutch is in. It might possibly still be making your noise. I'm pretty sure my problem was an improperly shimmed diff (*cough*cough* didn't shim at all )

Good luck though.

Ohh i know all about inproper shiming. My tranny came out 4 times in the last 3 months. Wrong ring gear, then it was wrong LSD, wrong bearing, broken ring gear, then put stock crap back on and now this after puting the tranny back in week ago I should just buy another one but almost everything was replaced in this damn thing. Gonna change my axel and see if that fixes it cuz mine is all chewed up.

How was it the wrong LSD??? all the ITR ones fit in a GSR tranny... just gotta get the right bearings, right???

Which ring gear did you use first?

lol.. no idea. My buddy bought it off of Ecrap and it was advertised as an ITR lsd. I havent seen the thing yet but he said the ring gear and teh case is all one unit so cant replace the ring gear alone. I have no idea where this lsd came from. Im gonna try to get some pics of it tho.
