I sure some of you guys have greddy sp2 or have some background on it and ideas is greatly appreciated.

Take it to a dyno and find out if you made or lost power. We have no idea what you and your buddy do when you race, how you race, or where you race. I seriously doubt you lost or made enough power to notice any kind of difference either way.

Well a backroad is not a good method of judging a cars speed. It's also not drag racing, it's street racing so you may try that forum.

maybe he shifted better, or he launched better, or drove better, the weather was better...theres so much **** that contributes to a cars acceleration, that its hard to say why you lost. The only way to know if youlost or gained power is by taking it to a dyno.
