Default Burns Stainless Inco Welding Deal thing AKA as stealing Casey's practice INCO scraps

A temp post so you guys stop thread jacking the other inco thread, come in here and be post ******.

Please add your name some of you i already have on the list, i will see how many people we can accomodate with this i dont think it will be anymore then ten. This will be a somewhat private contest or whatever it is going to be so PLEASE DO NOT be offended if your not added to the list.

This is simply meant for entertainment purposes there may be a prize

1. Louie (L-Con1) NO WELDING SAMPLE

2. William (want boost) NEED WELDING SAMPLE

3. Tony (Tony1) NO WELDING SAMPLE

4. Enzo (Enzo-Racing) GOOD

5. Pat (Fabman) NEED LIKE 80 MILLION SAMPLES

6. Spencer (engloid) NOPE

7. David (I4sillypower) WELDING SAMPLE PLEASE

8. Randy (RMF) <------ Grandpa Randy NONE NEEDED

9. John (composimo) good to go

10. james (Bmcrace.com) good

11. Danny (Six Sigma Race Engineering) NOT NEEDED

12. Matt (howitt) WELDING SAMPLE NEEDED

13. Brian (Lsi Turbo) WELDING SAMPLE NEEDED - Reviewed and admitted

14. Stu (wrekonize V8 Klr) good

15. Big Tom please submit welding sample

16. Mario @ full-race (turbotommy) good to go

17. Phil (Project DC2)

18. Cody (tinker219)

Ok heres the lastest deal 18 people is quite a few to provide inco for so next to your name you may see a "need to submit welding sample" this means i have not seen your welding skills or dont remember them. What i'm requiring for a welding sample is .049 or thinner 304 or higher grade stainless one pass with filler in a tubular form. We may have some around here but it is a pain for me to ship all this out. Please don't be offended by who i do and dont ask for a welding sample.

EMAIL SAMPLE PICS TOO : casey@burnsstainless.com subject = welding sample

FYI THERE ARE NO GAURANTEES EVeRYONE WILL GET TO DO THIS

thanks guys rules are coming really soon

ok update: allocating inco and setting up rules FIGURING OUT A PRIZE TOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!

Hey what Engloid said is right .Just tack a piece of anything on the ends to purge.Plus it gives you something to hold on to.

are purge chambers outlawed too? If I'm in this I don't have one of those either. Just consider my entrance into this thing as dependent on supply of scraps. I'd much rather see one of the other guys take a shot at this if it comes down to that. Plus we gotta leave Casey something to practice with lol.

lol, I rember a couple weeks ago acidently grabbing the 309 filler when welding an intercooler. I keep my mask on and just grab the next rod in the tube and somehow one of those got in there, needless to say that was a pita to get the aluminum cleaned up again lol.

Whats funny to do is take a piece of 3/32 allum. rod and sharpen it and put it in somebodys torch. When they hit the pedal it explodes. Its almost as funny as puting a string of firecrackers in the header tube when they are welding it.

Tony

The fact that they don't show when your back is up against the wall doesn't help either.

You gotta watch Casey, he's always out to make a buck. I ordered some 321 stainless and he billed me for it and shipped me 304 with a 321 sticker on it...

j/k, Casey has always done me right.

You may want to require that people have a digital camera or it will do them no good to get the pipe.

Another suggestion...maybe require pics of at least two stops/starts, or possibly pics of it all the way around, inside and out.

I had a buddy grab a pen ink refill instead of filler rod. made a lot of smoke, left a huge ink puddle, but he actually got two pieces tacked together. it might still be floating around the shop.
