B16B Crank and Rod into B16A2 Block!will this work?
not sure - i believe the b16b block's deck height is like 7mm taller than a b16a, therefore the pistons would really stick out of the block. i have ctr pistons in a b16a2 with b16a2 crank/rods. the domes stick up but that's about it. if you put in the b16b crank/rods, my guess is that more than just the domes would be sticking out of the cylinders. can someone please confirm or deny this.

no only fit a b18 block ... deck height is different in the b16a vs b16b. b16b is same as b18c/b18a
the b17a crank and rods would fit a b16a block though.

The real answer is that the B16B crank will work just fine. ItsCTR rods you can't use, as they were the longest b series rods of the family designed to be used with the P72 block.
You can also use the pistons, but compression will be high.
