can i build like a junk yard primered civic thats rusted....throw in a b-series motor and a junkass turbo kit and run 11's in a car thats worth like -20 bucks? build a car that nobody would ever possibly want. that would be awesome
For that show to be good you need to have a host that knows what he’s talking about and actually show enthusiasm and energy when he does the show. The host seems to have as much personality as a rock. You should also use lights and not his hands since you can potentially jump the gun and there is no way to really tell.

haha, speaking of the supra community i am surprised marko hasn't tried to make a presence on the show yet - get him and nero together on there and you talking about a couple of entertaining rounds of **** talking

Yeah, but it doesn't matter if you run 11's, 9's, or 16's since they spot lengths. Its all about our car and driving being consistant/reliable and how you "negotiate" the other guy. The whole show's idea needs to be rethought.
Maybe take 8 cars, everyone looks at the other racer's cars, then its a elimination style setup with negotiating being done before each race. You lose, you're done, you win, you go on, but everyone just saw how fast you were unless you let off at the end. Final winner gets money instead.

O really thats how the show works? I never tuned in. Wack. Thats all i gotta say. Your idea sounds so much better than what apparently they have going.

The 1 thing that totally pisses me off about this show is they don't race for pinks. The looser has an option to buy his car back at the end of the show for $1.00. If it wasn't completely staged it would probably be a bit more tolerable to watch.
they were, at one point, working with a reputable magazine editor. But he didn't like the way the show was going and walked away from the project.
Stupid as F%#k. How are we gonna risk our 20k,40,60k+ worth of automobiles' for a best of 5 street race? Just to be on TV? I dunno about you guys but i never see how its worth it. I haven't seen this show on main stream TV. Must me some Kia sophia Vs. Toyoto Echo grudge matches. My .02

The show needs to lay off the commercial breaks, its stupid.[/QUOTE]
I agree about the commercial breaks. I have stopped on Speed a couple of times when the show is going on. I always seem to catch the show when they are lining up. I watch them take off, get to about the 330 and then it goes to commercial. I start flipping through the channels and when I come back to Speed I missed it already. I stayed tuned in at the end one time and listened to the racers talking and I was like WTF, these guys have absolutly no personality.
I think I need to start a school about talking **** on TV cause these guys don't have a clue.
