Default Please Help w/ GSR Mugen Thermostat Install

Ok, i purchased my Mugen Thermostat, and now feel like a dummy, could you guys please help guide me through the steps to install, what do i need? Is it difficult. Thanks. Much Appreciated.

I jus replaced mine about 2 months ago, It was pretty ez i jus followed these directions. http://www.bseries.net/html/garage/thermo.php
one of the 10 mm bolts was a biiitchh.. but thats about it..and so was draining and refilling the coolant but not too bad..

ok, so i searched & got a post from 2 years ago.. but the link doesn't work. so does anyone have a write up on how to install a thermostat on a g3 tegra??

I used a helms my first time and it was great. its pretty simple. un do the to 10mil bolts on it, pull it out. make sure you put the thermostat lip inbetween the gasket and put it back on .

Oh and of coarse drain the coolant before hand and fill it up later. I guess you don't have to but you'll get air in lines one way or the other and a big mess

I personally didn't follow that guide. I went with my haynes repair manual, best 10 dollars i ever spent!

oh yeah besure to get some high temp rtv
