This is a local question since I'm looking for someone in the Palm Beach/Broward County area, but I don't know where to post it. (Sorry if this is wrong mods.)

I need a few sheets of aluminum and once I cut them to size/shape, I'd like a few beads run on them to strengthen them up. (Door panels and rear floor cover.)

Can any south FL people help me out with this?

I know that SFP has a bead roller.

 

That's not too bad of a drive from West Palm. /barf.

Anyone possibly a little further north? I'll take a domestic shop if need be. I'm social.

Bust out the phone book, any chassis shop should be able to do it.

 

steve, just go to moroso on wed/fri nights. you won't have a problem getting names of domestic shops, that could do this close to you! i have seen many domestic performance shops, in the riviera beach area many that specialize in chassis building! just do a search on the web, for shops around your area!

 

Chassis shops, great call. I keep looking for metal supply places.

Try Street Rod Classics in Boca Raton. I was at their shop last weekend, they had a road race Del Sol out front with some custom tin work.

 

I know that this post is freaking old, but I just want to mention that SRC sucks. I gave them my templates 3 days before Wilma hit last year. I called them a few weeks after I got power back and they told me their alum supply was held up due to the storm.

I waited a month and a half, called back. Still delayed.

Called 2 weeks later. Order is coming in, call back next week.

Called next week for 3 more weeks and then was finally told in April that they lost my templates and to compensate me, they'll make the panels while I wait. Oooooooooh, great customer service there.

WTF....

Anyway, I'm back on searching for a local shop.

Edit - they're 44miles north of me. To far out of my way just for panels. I at least work in Boca.

I'll check Chassis shops in the WPB area.

Steeda is in the Pompano Beach area and I believe they have a full-blown fab shop.

 

And I'm sure their rates are super competive too.

I may just bite the bullet and make the panels myself and have the beads rolled on after the fact.

Anthony does real good work, he just adding to my cage making it a 10 point with a window net, it will be worth the drive steve.

steve there is a local place here in pompano that does metal supply theycut and our endtans for fmic all the time quick turn around and great prices. its called Sun Metal Supply in Pompano not too far from Copans & I95
