Recently gave my car a tune-up, all i changed was the spark plugs, oil and filter and the air filter...just basic, after this, my car started misfirng but only when its warmed up and the gas pedal is pressed...once you take your foot off the gas it stops

Its in the shop and they cant figure it out...changed the plugs, rotor, dist. cap, wires and nothing!!! checked the fuel line and no clogs!!!

Could it be the injectors? maybe the fuel pump?

Oh and only 4 out of the 6 cylinders are missing!!!!!!

 

you could have low compression in those cylinders. caused by worn rings or a stuck valve.

 

how old is the fuel filter

 

No inline fuel filter on the 6th gen accords, only a sock type over the pump itself. I've questioned the filter before, but that wouldn't discriminate cylinders right?

 

i am assuming your car was misfiring before you tuned it up????????????? or after you did the work ???? chk engine lite on???...did u put plug wires back correctly??

only 4 out of 6 cylinders are missing ???? u mean it is only firing on 2 cylinders??????or misfiring on 2 cylinders???

 

if your car is misfiring as a result of your "tune-up". you should check your plugs. and wires.

 

Did you connect the spark plug wires in the correct order?
