I just found a magnaflow axle-back exhaust, and I really need one, the price is pretty good, any thoughts on how they perform/sound? I want a deeper tone, no "angry bumblebee"

 

sucks worse than you can believe. thats what i got i know. i didnt buy it but the guy who owned the car before me bought it, sounds like stock maybe a little louder

i have one on my car and i love it. i laugh at every single riceboy that drops 10x what i paid for this one. its got a nice tone, very easy to conceal, and its REALLY light. it goes good with 2.5 in piping. i got the whole thing, mandrel bent catback and exhaust INSTALLED for under 200.

 

I had one, it was OK. It gave pretty good performance gains on my little SOHC, but I wanted something a little louder. It was only noticeable if you were above 4K. Overall....Its good for its price, but you could get a name brand exhaust (greddy, apexi, thermal) for $100 more.

 

then again, mine was a cat-back...dunno about that axle-back stuff.
