Default o2 sensor not in any problem?

just had a question, if i dont run an o2 sensor but have the car tuned on a dyno will it be fine? do i need to have one? my friend told me as long as it's dynoed it will be ok if not then get an o2 sensore is this correct?

If you run Hondata or similar, you can disable the O2 sensor. No big deal. A stock ECU will throw a code.
