howdy. just wondering something. Bought a 97 hatch, its completely stock (CX 5sp). I'm getting about 280 miles on a tank and that is running it down to the fumes. I do a lot of highway driving probably 70/30. This seems low to me, any suggestions. What do you guys get?

 

I have a 99 DX hatchback with power steering and AC. My setup is a y7/y8 mini me with a z6 tranny. I get about 380 miles on a full tank down to the last drop. I get on the throttle pretty often too.

 

yeah that's what i got in my old 96 dx. This one has a/c and powerassist. It seems like im getting what i used to get when i had my H22/EK...... Suggestion box is open.

 

get a tune up, check the timing, plugs, ign wires, or just swap in a turbo B18c1

 

99 dx hatch stock. Only mod is AEM CAI. get about 375/tank, avg 33mpg with high perf tires. With stock tires, got 35-36mpg. get ur car tuned and leak tested.

 

Someone said the E-brake might be dragging, how do I check/fix this?

 

lift the car up and take the e brake off making sure ur car wont move, and if u can spin the wheel freely, then u dont have that problem
