Ok i traded my 90 civic sedan for this 89 crx dx, has 90 si motor with aem cam gear, intake, chikara header, and full exhaust, dx interior with si carpet, has no front fenders and it primered black....

the reason i need your help is because most of you have the same theme/style as me "jdm"

what i need help with:
-what wheels i should use
-what color should i paint it
-should i do si dash, and rhyno line the whole inside with si seats

if u guys also have any parts in the NW area lmk thanks

wack man...why would u ask other people for what rims and color you should paint ur car...those are two big factors in giving a car its own look...paint it the color u think looks best....
i dont know why but i might paint my hatch that metallic brown that the new crv's come in...

Bronze HX's???

Id say a deep forest green...or take a look at Fords Mineral Grey...but that would require black rims IMO.


if you plan on taking this post further I would suggest you maybe add some or what you plan to do to make it "jdm style" that may help us in telling you what to do.

it is called decide what to do before i get fenders so when i get fenders i have my plans already figured out.......think about other things before you talk and i should have done that too....

1.black hx's/vx's with some sort of a gunmetal look paint
2.black hx's/vx's with a forest green paint

or black paint on bronze hx's or vx's

INTERIOR WIZE:
1. FULL SI INTERIOR,
2. roll cage, si buckets and dash and rhyno line floor

That should have been the first question you asked. Now that some people have actually given their opinion you state that you are seriously budget constrained and can only do two appearance options to the outside of your car (paint and hx wheels). At this point its much easier for people to figure out what kind of input you want. I do think its petty of you to flame other members because they gave their input and/or gave you crap because you couldn't figure out how to ask what you wanted in the first place.

I personally think the black paint on bronze hx's would look the best, although this is also the most common color combination, if you're looking to stand out don't do this. Actually, if you're looking to stand out, don't buy fenders.

Bronze HX rims. Go with a dark red. I think that always looks good with those color rims.

You should bring this to the Apperance section they would have more opinons on looks.
