does anyone have type r cams in their gsr or in a gsr motor... i have an intake cam for the type r and i just picked up an gsr... im thinking about finding an exhaust cam and putting it on... any suggestions ?? does anyone know anyone thats selling an exhaust cam??? let me know please....

 

the intake cam is direct replacement and will account for more than 1/2 the gains of ITR cams in a GSR. maybe 60%-70% of the gains that would be had from having both cams. it's recommended to install stock GSR intake dual valve springs on the exhaust side of your head when installing an ITR exhaust cam, although lots of people just drop the cam right in and leave the valvetrain otherwise stock and it's plenty reliable. just don't go over the stock GSR redline and you should be good.
