my cig lighter thing on my 90 civic lx doesnt work. i was testing out some radar thing and yeah
anyone know why it doesnt work?
can it be those little fuses? and where can i locate the fuse?

 

sounds like a fuse.fuses are right above your feet just take the cover off and read which fuse is for the lighter

damnit bad news..
i changed the fuse and still doesnt work. i guess i bought another car with no cig lighter thing.. beyond this stage it will be too hard for me to fix
so yeah thanks anyways

 

go underneth the dash or what ever you must do to get behind the cig lighter thing, one of the wires might be disconnected, never know...

 

I just went through this last month. I put a Special Edition console in my STD hatch, and I had to get the cig-lighter pigtail and connect it to the supplied plug. 1-2-3, good to go, I spent about 2 minutes with my head under the dash, but once I found them and reassigned the pins (the car is an 88, the pigtail I acquired is a 90) she plugged right in and worked 1st shot. The only problem I have is my phone-charger doesn't work in the car, but now I can light up those smokes I quit a few years ago .
