Default Just installed dc sports 4-2-1

Ok i just recently installed my DC Sports 4-2-1 2pc headers on my Teg. I was wondering what the piece that goes inbetween the header and the cat is called?Like a material of somesort or something? (exhaust flange?) Because i believe i need a new one, my car makes a wierd sound during idling and i think its letting air and thats why i probably get a wierd sound. I would appreciate it if someone could help me out

i Have discovered with help that it is a donut gasket, go down to read my last comment

i dont know what its called, its like what goes between the headers and the CAT. Its loose, probably because it is old, but i dont like the sound that it gives my car. Like when i idle my car sounds like a track car LOL. Oh and like you cant hear it when im in 3rd at low revs but like in first when i take off and almost everytime except third. So i dont know, i want to make it sound right.

Yea, it's the gasket. It's probably old and leaking, so just replace it, fairly cheap too.

Its a donut gasket and it will rust away and make you run open header kinda.

it is a tapered gasket, basically a big o-ring that creats a seal between the cat and the header. I think they are about $10 from honda. go to http://www.acuraparts247.com to look up the part number. I think they even call it a donut

THANKS

yeah that must be it because i think the space between the cat in the header is what causes that rattling sound and letting more air in but i cant find it on that site you mentioned.
