Default Turbo B17 coupe Dynod 200whp @9psi...

Hey i finally got my built swap in and turbod. Runs pretty damn strong cept for a few minor issues.

I think i have a hydrocrabon leak, and we ran the dyno runs on a dying dizzy so the ignition kept missing at high rpms and throwin the dyno results off. We had one good pull and I made 200whp/150 ft/lbs.

Pretty good for a dying dizzy and a hydrocarbon leak. We were running 9psi. I got it all tuned by steve sakai on hondata to him he knwos way more than he should about that stuff

So i was wondering, with this setup in my ej1 coupe what do you think ill run 1/4mi? It takes a second to spool, but after that it pulls HARD. Also it seems like the gearing is short as hell cause i always end up in 50th goin 80 after like 2seconds. Its a 98 GSR tranny.

Any guesses on 1/4mi times? I dont want to run it until my hydrocarbon leak is addressed...

thanks

so you went to the dyno with a blown headgasket? you do know that it can warp the mating surfaces if you continue to run it like that..

He should run a little faster than 14s! Im sure, depends on a lotta things, tuning, torque and horsepower curve, blah blah blah. but 14s, hmmm, dont know

I wouldn't run it at the track until you work out the bugs. Every dyno is different, but those numbers are extremely low.

Built and b-series should equal more than 200hp! A friend of mine had a D16y8 and was running 8lbs and was putting down 208hp on the freaking hack!

Seems low to me! Fix everything and it should get better i hope
