I ahve some cheap electric water and oil temp gauges. I believe my engine has stock sensors for both of these things..

Although both guages came with their own electric sending units, i was wdonering if i could just tap into the signal wire from the stock sending units instead of wasting all the time putting these units in.

Would i get correct signal to the guages if i just splices them into the stock sending units?

the oil is in the back of the block next to your oil filter and the water will be in the neck of the water housing. look for the sensors that look like the ones that came with the gauges
