hey what's up guys

I'm taking a photography class for fun once a night, and I needed a digital SLR for this class.

so I decided to go with the Nikon D70s.


the class is pretty cool, I'm learning a lot, but now I just have to apply what I learnt to my camera. I have to sit down and read the manual to figure out how to take advantage of all it's wonderful manual features. I also only have 1 lens, the 67mm that came with it. I can't wait to get a decent macro lens and good zoom lens

anyways, here are some of my shot. I only had the camera for 5 days.


BTW these shots are not photoshopped. I only used it to crop em.

here we are playing foot ball Saturday after noon. I also bought my polarizing filer that day too



pretty nice still shot. I still have to learn how to put the shutter speed faster to make it more crisp


with the original size of 3008x2008 you can zoom in quit a bit.


this my my rolled cigarette. auto focus wasn't working for some reason, so that shot was focused manually



I only smoke to take pictures.... I mean for my pictures! sorry mom

here's a nice shot. but my settings were on auto. and with this type of camera that's stupid. that's like racing a Lambo and launching her in 6th gear.


this is what we call over exposure, I finally learnt how to use some manual settings. but my batteries died shortly after so I didn't get to do it again. but I just wanted to show you guys how much light I got from this camera in a very dark environment. I just have to tone it down a bit.



and here I am. I wished my bateries wouldn't of died, this shot would of been so much better onced I knew how to take em properly. oh well


so give me like 3 months and I'll make you guys drool.

anything 2.8 of better owns you or wide like 10mm
