this is somewhat true

Spoon now offers a 'mono-block' caliper. it is a one piece unit.

The previous caliper is a 'dual-block' caliper. it is obviously a two piece unit.

What are the advantages of monoblock over dual-block?

Nevermind the fact there are no rebuild kits availible for teh Spoon calipers...

Look at the Wilwood thread for more information or APRacing's site about why rebuild kits may be important...

Spoon calipers are Blue - Not polished

As far as Monoblock and twinblock its the design of the caliper.
The S2000 RSX and New CTR use the Monoblock design, The DC2 and EK9 use the twinblock.

MonoBlock

TwinBlock

I didn't see the monoblock listed for the Integra on the Spoon site. If these are available for the ITR, will these still fit under the stock 15" wheels? Do they use the same pads as the dual block? Is there a price difference between the two?
