It would help to know what car you have.
I'd recomend a GSR because more than likely your planing on boost.

There's a lot of guys running LS/VTEC w/o problems. If done right, it can be just as reliable. Im assuming that's what you mean by 'problems'.

For daily driving, b16's arent that great since you have to stay up in the RPMs to get anywhere. LS and GSR motors are a bit nicer for daily driving (TQ). I've had all 3 motors, and what I have to ask is, "what are your plans?". Your question is quite vague.

What I don't get is people acting like the TQ difference is so ******* great. Do you realize that it's STILL less CC than a damn 2 liter of Mountain Dew?

111 ft/lbs
127 ft/lbs

****'s still WEAK.

EDIT:

To make LSVTEC even decent powerwise you need to switch out the pistons, or face defeats by SOHC hatches.

Best drop in and go motor. You get more TQ than the b16 (yes the difference is VERY noticible) and your motor will be very reliable cuz it was assembled by HONDA, also the money that you spend will not hurt you.. Best newbie bang for the buck.. After you do this I challenge you, you GS-R against me B16 I'll even give you a car head start..

Since you ask this question I ASSume you don't know 2 much about the B-series motor. (tricks to making power)
Each motor has it's advantages and disadvantages.
Someone flame me now...
