fuel pump question for hybrid EF's
My '88 Civic DX now has a B17A motor in it. Will the 90-93 integra fuel pump bolt/fit in the fuel tank? Can I just use the stock DX fuel pump?
Second concern. I took off my back seat because I thought the fuel pump is right under it. Turns out its the sending unit that's there, not the actual fuel pump. So I guess that means I have to drop the fuel tank, right? ARGH!!!!

im using my stock hf fuel pump for my b16.....i think i should be fine until you add more power........and im pretty sure you'll ahve to drop the tank to replace the pump and i think you'll have to modify the pump mounts to make another pump fit
Your stock fuel pump will work fine for light mods, or less than 75 shot nitrous. It's really not worth the hassle of dropping the tank unless you plan on putting in a decent pump, not just a stock replacement. I would doubt that the 90-93 pumps are much, if any better than the CRX/Civic's considering that all trim levels of CRX/Civic's use the same fuel pump.
What about a 92-96 Prelude pump... I believe those are physically the same size, but I would definitely think that it would pump out alot more fuel than a stock Civic pump.
