Whats wrong with my LS Hatch??
Its a '93 EG Hatch w/ '95 LS swap. I just had a complete tune up (oil, plugs, wires, flush and fill) and the damn thing started and ran for like 10 minutes. While running, I pulled out the FAR spark plug to see if it needed to be replaced and then it jerked and lagged and DIED! I put the plug back in and went to go start the car once more. This time, it kicked in and kicked in but dint start. What happened? Can someone help me?? One guy, props to jlacoy82, says that maybe i exerted too much stress on my womulator shaft by unbalancing the load. Honestly, I dont even know what the freak that is but if it is that then Im gonna fix it (i am just starting a job tomorrow). If anyone knows of any other known or unknown problem(s) with my LS, please let me know ASAP!! Thank you sooooooooooo much!!
Maybe you flooded the cylinder. If you take out the spark plug while the motor is running, it will still spray fuel in there which won't get ignited. Maybe you put so much fuel that now the gas takes out the spark before it has a chance to ignite the gas. Try retarding the timing close to TDC and see if that helps you burn the excess gas in the cylinder... then you can move the timing back to where it was once it's all good.

I think you are in the right direction with womulator shaft

Fine...
Listen...the womulator shafts available from the honda dealer suck. The part is still defective and will break on you. Go to the BMW dealer, and ask for the 2001-2005 M3 womulator shaft. Its a direct bolt in and will last a lot longer

wtf are you babbling about?
it's obviously the womulator shaft. if you replace that and it still doesn't start you probably didn't grease it enough. happened to me the first time i had to replace that piece. it's a quick and easy job though, any shop should be able to get the part and do it for less than 60 bucks. or you could get the part yourself and figure it out. it's pretty easy once you get the dizzy off.

The wormulator shaft is easy to change. Just remeber to grease it well. The more you grease it the better it work. Now dont over grease it will just mess it up.

</TD></TR></TABLE>
its what connects the distributor to the cam blower pulley...they're pieces of **** in the ls motor because honda made them out of poor materials.
a few people have been known to use other manufacturers wom shafts because they hold up a lot better. like one guy said its best to go with M3 wom shafts. its pretty much a universal part.
best way i can describe it is like using suzuki grand vitara pistons in a single cam honda..universal.
