Yea Right...... Been there, done that, gotten a T-Shirt. Where in the Vast Knowledge of this Site and all it's archives does it say what to do when you do everything that the instructions say and your car still doesn't run right?? Not to be a Dick or anything, but I'm just really frustrated at my situation and the fact that I've posted my problem on 5 different Honda Sites and it's been over a month now and no-one can help me out.

https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1364403

I'm even trying to take the easy way out and just put a new Si harness and matching Body harness in there to avoid trying to troubleshoot it more, but no-one seems to have them. Not even a parts car that I could buy whole and just take what I need. This Sucks................

go to rywire.com...i know for a fact that they make dpfi to mpfi conversion harness'...u can do it urself too check out the FAQ section at the top of the forum there is probably a write up...but no u cant use ur si wire harness with the dx chassis harness...it can be modified but it would take a lot of work and really wouldnt be worth the time...get urself a dx engine harness and get it modified for mpfi..

You can't swing a cat around here without hitting a DPFI to MPFI writeup. The fact that you can't find one tells us you are stupid or lazy.

So read this:
http://www.gutterslide.com/fou....html

The instructions cover the conversion from start to finish. If you think you can skip steps or find a better way, you're going to have a lot frustrating work ahead of you.

Sorry I didn't include the warm and fuzzies with my solid good answer to his question. Was I wrong?
You obviously don't like my own personal conclusions, but I really don't care.

Archives and FAQs make Honda-Tech far more valuable then just being able to post a question. Learn to use the tool properly and you won't have to put up with dicks like me.

The MPFI swap is time intensive and requires attention to detail. Its not uncommon for a first timer to take all day. Don't try and cut corners and you'll be fine. If you can't manage that, look into a premade conversion harness.

We used those instructions and still nothing. They don't say anything about the distributor wiring, or what to do when they're calling for certain wires to be a certain color and they're not even close..........

Okay you need to use your stock engine harness. Meaning if its a 88 DX use the 88 Dx if its the 89-91 DX use the 89-91 DX.

In this engine harness is where the conversion will happen. You will need to add certain wires.

I am not sure what exactly you guys are looking for. You both seem to be newbs that are confusing the hell out of me with your questions.

In the Faq's section they have lots of write ups on how to do this.
