h22a vtec oil question
i was wondering what the best grade oil to use with the jdm h22a vtec. the guy who did my engine told me not to use syn. oil becasue the oil too thin and i am gonna burn it to quick. he recrement i use 10w-40 but the helms said 10w-30 so i was wondering what u guy think thx

Break in new motors on regular oil, then use synthetic and your fine.
If the motor has always run on regular, keep it regular, do not change if synthetic hasn't been used since after breakin.
Synthetic is less prone to breakdown due to heat.
I use Regular in the street cars, synthetic for racecars. Racecars as in roadrace cars that see 6-9k for a long period of time.
