Default Stolen emblem

I had my car parked infront of my house tonight. I went shopping with my housemate (we took his WRX)... I come back to find that my rear emblem is stolen.

I'm not that pissed, but wtf, why would you steal an emblem... especially an Acura? Hope it makes a nice necklace, or looks good on his Toyota Tercel....

Pretty lame, it's too bad that there are losers on this planet that feel the need to steal emblems of all things I had mine stolen twice in two weeks. Got it stolen the first time, went to dealer and got a new one, that one was stolen 2 days later. Bunch of savages, I swear

The only reason I want to keep mine off is cause if they do get stolen... They are dumb enough to use the largest object to try and pry it off with. to thiefs

Hey, don't dump on Tercels!

Seriously, that's incredibly lame. These people need a more constructive way to occupy their time.

keep em off. it will prevent scratches i guarantee it. seen too many cars w/ scratches all around their emblems b/c people dont even know how to remove their emblems. if you do want to ( remove them for yourself ) use either fishing wire, dental floss, or a credit card. personally, i'd go w/ the fishign wire/ dental floss. if you cant get it, take a hair dryer and heat it up, the glue will get a little softer and it should pull right off. good luck guys, and avoid those scratches!!

After removing your emblems don't you need to cover up the holes so water doesn't get in, or is this not a problem???

That is when you follow through and take your car the the body shop to get those holes filled.

How should I get rid of the nasty crusted/baked on glue that held the emblem in place without damaing the paint?

I accept the fact that colored emblems are hot items, but why would someone steal a regular ? I will never understand morons.
